Lenggu Temple

Lenggu temple is not far from the southeast of Hupi dam. It's half an hour's ride. The temple is built in the valley between geniefeng and Xiaozha mountain. It is surrounded by snow peaks. In front of the temple is a winding stream. The autumn scenery of the mountain is surrounded by red and white doors and walls. Prayer flags are flying around the temple. In addition to a large number of scriptures, there are also rare treasures in the temple, such as the female antler, the magic weapon taken from the stone, the conch, and the block shaped milky white stone (with various naturally formed hairlike patterns) known as the "heart" of Mount gnei.

Lenggu Temple

Lenggu temple is located in the valley of the two snow capped mountains, namely, Ge Nie Sheng mountain and Xiao Zha Shen mountain. Streams from the two snow capped mountains flow under our feet, and these streams will run all the way to the Yangtze River. Four or five big logs are tied together to form a solid bridge, and each bridge is tied with a colorful Wind Horse flag.

Lenggu temple, as the oldest Baijiao (Kaju sect) Temple in Kang District, was founded in 1164 by Quji di songqinbu, the supreme living Buddha of Karmapa I. On the way to the temple, all kinds of clothes are reflected in the water. Every year, Tibetans who come and go to worship hang their clothes on the branches and bushes by the lake, which means that they have abandoned their diseases. Time is too long, some branches rotted, hanging on the clothes fell into the water. Over the years, this God's garden surrounded by prayer flags has collected many clothes and many wishes of believers who have traveled here for thousands of years.
