Sha Menghai's former residence

Sha Menghai's former residence is located at No.15 Longyou Road, Xiacheng District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. It is the place where the contemporary calligrapher Sha Menghai lived in his later years. It was listed as a cultural relic protection unit of Zhejiang Province in 2009.

Sha Menghai's former residence is a two-story brick and wood structure villa building, covering an area of 870 square meters, with a total construction area of 601 square meters. In November 2004, the people's Government of Zhejiang Province invested more than 7 million yuan to repair it, with a photo exhibition hall of Sha Menghai's life story. The five character plaque of "former residence of Sha Menghai" in the courtyard was written by Qian Juntao, a famous seal cutter.
