Houbi Lake

The name of houbi Lake comes from the lagoon area on the east side of the channel. It takes on the form of a lagoon at low tide, just like the residents in Daguang live in "the lake behind their houses", so it is called "houbi Lake". Houbi lake has the largest fishing port and yacht wharf in Hengchun, which can accommodate 120 yachts. From April to July, sailfish, umbrella fish, ghost head knife, and black skin swordfish and white skin swordfish are the most abundant. When fishing boats return at dusk and unload fresh fish, local people and tourists often compete for seafood. The scene is very lively.

Traffic information: self driving: at the end of the third national highway, Nanzhou interchange connects with line 1, or linbian interchange connects with line 17.
