Tianzi is a huge rock rising from the sky. One end is connected with the mountain, and the other end extends into the canyon, like a dragon head. It is said that this place was once the place where Xiang Dakun (the leader of Tujia Nationality in the early Ming Dynasty) practiced meditation and ordered the world, so it was named tianzizuo.
