Dijiao Park

Dijiao park is located in Wuhan City, formerly known as Wuhan seedling farm. Covering an area of more than 20 hectares, the park is a free scenic spot in Wuhan.

The total construction investment of Dijiao Park in the past 10 years is nearly 32 million yuan. According to the landscape and function, the park is divided into three scenic spots: Cultural browsing area, jungle adventure area and leisure and entertainment area.

The park covers an area of more than 20 hectares (308 mu), of which the water surface area is 3.2 hectares, accounting for 16% of the total area. The green space rate of the whole park is about 85%.

Scenery

There are artificial lake, Peng Island, lotus pool and other scenic spots in the cultural browsing area. There are water corridor, stream, children's paradise, banana square, wind bamboo garden, bamboo calligraphy wall and other attractions in the leisure and entertainment area.

There are Wuhan China Garden, Wenfeng Pavilion, heart enjoying garden, yuemuxuan and other scenic spots in the jungle exploration area. The main features of the garden are the antique architecture of Jiangnan garden style, a wide variety of lush flowers and trees, exquisite and rich flower street pavement, exquisite and elegant stone scenery and meaningful couplet calligraphy.

There are more than 700 cherry blossoms of two species in Dijiao park. The flowering period is mainly from March to April.

history

Dijiao Park, formerly known as Wuhan seedling farm, was opened as a nursery in 1956. It began to be rebuilt in 1999. It was named Dijiao Park in April 2001, opened on September 19, 2004, and officially opened to the public free of charge on the national day of 2004.
