Pak Shek Kok promenade is located at Pak Shek Kok Science Park Road, innovation road and scientific research road in Tai Po, new territories. The construction of Pak Shek Kok promenade was started by the Hong Kong government at a cost of HK $20 million in December 2004, completed in September 2007 and opened in February 2008.

The construction of Pak Shek Kok promenade was started by the Hong Kong Government in December 2004 at a cost of HK $20 million. It was completed in September 2007 and opened in February 2008. It is managed by the leisure and Cultural Services Department. The two kilometer waterfront promenade at Pak Shek Kok is equipped with footpaths and bicycle paths. Along the promenade, visitors can enjoy the view of Tolo Harbour and the view from Ma On Shan to baxianling. The bicycle path connects Sha Tin to Tai Po.
