Pharmacist's house

The original site of pharmacist's nunnery is changpingcang, chenjiabang, 2 li south of the town. There is no research on the date when it was first built. The main Buddha in the nunnery is the pharmacist Buddha. The believers call it the pharmacist Buddha of eliminating disasters and prolonging life.

The original nunnery contains the Buddhist Classic Fahuajing, which is the volume of Zhenan. This nunnery was abandoned at the beginning of Qianlong period, and later it was rebuilt by the Wang family who donated land to the township and changed into a nunnery. The statue of Lu Chunyang, one of the Eight Immortals in the nunnery, was demolished in the 1960s.

The existing pharmacist's nunnery was built in the 1990s and is located in the west of daxiyuan, covering an area of more than 10 mu. There are two main halls and two side halls. There are dozens of Buddhas offered, all of which are made of gold.
