Leifeng Pagoda scenic spot

Leifeng Pagoda is also known as HuangFei pagoda, also known as Xiguan brick pagoda. On the Leifeng of Xizhao mountain on the South Bank of West Lake, in front of Jingci temple at the foot of Rihui peak of Nanping mountain. Leifeng Pagoda was built by Qian GUI, the king of Wu and Yue, because of Huang Fei's son. It was originally named "HuangFei pagoda" because it was built on the ground, and later renamed "Leifeng Pagoda". The old tower, which collapsed in 1924, has been rebuilt. Leifeng sunset is one of the ten sceneries of the West Lake. The newly built Leifeng Pagoda is the first person in China's copper field. Zhu Bingren is the chief copper craftsman, making it the first colored copper Pagoda in China.

Leifeng new tower has four characteristics: unique landscape, profound Buddhist culture, beautiful legend of white snake and novel architectural features. 1、 Look at the "landscape": when we climb to the top of Leifeng Tower, our sight is raised nearly 100 meters. On the veranda outside the tower, standing in the wind and looking down, we can see the scenery of the West Lake. 2、 View "Buddhism": in 2001, the excavation of Leifeng Pagoda underground palace: the treasure of the ancient pagoda: the pure silver Ayu pagoda where the "Buddha hair relic" is placed. This is the only "Buddha hair relic" unearthed in China. This rare treasure is now worshipped in the Buddha Relic Hall in the scenic area. Third, listen to "love": The Legend of white snake is one of the four love stories among Chinese people, Walking into Leifeng Pagoda, you can see the reappearance of Xu Xian and Bai Niangzi's love story. Fourth, tasting "architecture": the new pagoda was rebuilt on the original site of the old pagoda in the Wuyue period, which is a unique "tower in the tower". Below the base of the pagoda is the site of the old pagoda, above the base of the pagoda is the new pagoda of Leifeng, and the new pagoda follows the original style of Leifeng Pagoda as far as possible.
