Kaohsiung Film Library

Kaohsiung Film Library is a film themed library. It opened on November 3, 2002 and is located by the love river. It is subordinate to the Cultural Bureau of Kaohsiung Municipal government. On December 25, 2010, Kaohsiung City and county merged. Because there are no books in Kaohsiung Film Library, Kaohsiung Municipal Government hereby renamed it "Kaohsiung Film Library".

The museum has four floors, three on the ground and one underground. The first floor is mainly for film related exhibitions, the second floor is for personal reading and listening area and periodical room for film borrowing, the third floor is for group screening, and the first floor underground is for rental lockers for visitors to deposit their belongings. The museum is also one of the broadcasting and activity sites of the Kaohsiung Film Festival and the southern Film Festival.
