There are natural "Maitreya Buddha", natural "Shenwan Shenquan" and natural "stone horse carrying scriptures" in the cave. The so-called Maitreya Buddha is actually a stalactite on the stone platform, which is similar to Maitreya Buddha in shape, so people respect it as Maitreya Buddha. Beside the Buddha statue, there is a water square which looks like a water bowl. On the top of the cave, there is a spring dripping into the "bowl". People call the water "holy spring" and drink it to pray for good luck and well-being. A white stone in the grottoes on the right side of the cave hall looks like a white horse, carrying scriptures and looking forward. There is a line of pit in the center of the cave hall. There is a piece of multi angular blue stone in the pit. If you use this blue stone to hammer the shallow pit, there will be a roar reverberating in the big cave or even in the valley. Tibetans often go to the cave to knock for rain in drought, and take this "stone drum" as a divine thing.

The path to the second layer of cave needs to be carefully climbed. The stalactite here has developed and formed, so it is white and transparent. There is also the Great Rift Valley about 10 meters wide, deep and creepy. There is a single wooden bridge above, climbing along the wooden ladder to the third floor hole. Into the third layer of hole, there will be a sudden sense of light, those strange stalactites are more colorful than the front. Here is a milk stone like a baby, which is regarded by the common people as a child seeking God. Next to the stone baby, there is a stone bottle with two holes connected. Water flows out of the hole, which is quite aural. Young men and women often divine the signs of love here.

Features of scenic spots

The name of the cave is full of religious color and Tibetan Buddhism color. There is a temple outside the cave, which originally belonged to the villa of an eminent monk of the karma Gaju sect of Tibetan Buddhism. At the back of the temple, there are towering ancient trees, and a huge mani pile more than 50 meters long. The stone mound is made of many pieces of stone of different sizes with six characters of mantra and mantra engraved on it. There are statues of Sakyamuni and other gods and idols in the temple. There is a natural footprint at the entrance of immortal cave. It is said that it is the footprint of a living Buddha. Tibetans regard it as a sacred object and carve Tibetan around it.

There is also a legend full of Tibetan Buddhism about the origin of the cave. In ancient times, Karmapa living Buddha traveled around Kangnan Tibetan area to preach. When he came to GEZAN Chitu mountain, he seemed to hear the sound of drums and gongs. He sat down and prayed for divination. He learned that there was an immortal cave that had not been opened, and there were treasures. Those who heard the sound of drums were predestined friends. The living Buddha of Karmapa tried every means to open the cave. He threw hada to the place where he opened the cave. After several times, he was not satisfied. He let his apprentice xiluosangbo throw hada to the middle of the cliff. The living Buddha was very satisfied. He taught him the Buddhism of opening the immortal gate and made him the master of the cave. Xiluosangbo read the Sutra for three years and three days under the rock outside the cave. After burning incense for a thousand times, he began to chisel the stone to open the cave door. After three months, the cave door still did not open. He couldn't help it, so he pushed the door open. The treasures in the cave were opened three days ahead of schedule, and then flew away. After hearing the news, the Buddhists came and danced in front of the cave, retaining some treasures and Bodhisattvas. This day will become the festival of opening immortal cave.

For many years, on the 15th of the first month, the 15th of July, and the 15th of December, Tibetans in the middle of the month, Derong, Xiangcheng, Daocheng and other places have come all the way to pay homage to the cave and hold singing and dancing activities here.
