Zhenjiang Jiaoshan scenic spot

It has always been famous for its natural landscape, simple and elegant. Surrounded by green waves, lush trees, green grass and green mountains, it looks like a jasper floating on the Yangtze River. It is the only island in the Yangtze River surrounded by water. It confronts with Xiangshan and Jiajiang on the other side. It is just the so-called "the east of Sichuan, the neutrality of an Island". It has the metaphor of "Water Park" in the south of the Yangtze River and is known as "floating jade in the river". It was named after Jiao Guang's seclusion in the mountains in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It's like climbing on Putuo Fairy Island.

Jiaoshan is famous for its stele inscriptions. It is known as the second forest of Steles in China besides Xi'an Forest of steles. Seal, Li, Zhen, Cao and Xing are all available, which integrates the spirit of hundreds of calligraphies. Yihe Ming, a rare stele with the name of "king of Steles" and "ancestor of big characters", comes from Jiaoshan.

The difference between Jiaoshan and Jinshan is that the buildings such as temples and pavilions in Jiaoshan are hidden in the lush forest of pines, cypresses and bamboos, so it is called "Jiaoshan mountain wrapped Temple". There is also Dinghui temple, which is famous for studying Buddhism.

Shanghai to Zhenjiang Jiaoshan self driving route: go to Huning Expressway, get off Zhenjiang section, go along guantangqiao Road, then turn right to the viaduct, go straight along Jiefang Road to the end, turn right to Changjiang Road, and drive eastward along Dongwu road. You can get to Jiaoshan in about seven minutes

2. Nanjing to Zhenjiang Jiaoshan self driving route: Nanjing - the Second Yangtze River Bridge (20 yuan) - Ningtong Expressway - Yangzhou - Runyang Bridge - Zhenjiang

3. Yangzhou to Jiaoshan bus route: self driving is feasible, use Yangli expressway, Zhenjiang section, turn right into Jinqiao Avenue, pass Jinshan Yanchang River Road, and go east to Jiaoshan scenic spot
