The legend of Yuanyang Island

It is said that a long time ago, there was a young couple on the island. The man's name was Dian Sheng, and the woman's name was shuilian. They were very close to each other. There is a local bully named Liu erbiao. He took a fancy to the beauty of shuilian and robbed it on a black night. After hearing the news, Dian Sheng is in agony and finds Liu erbiao's important family member. The unruly Liu erbiao asks his family member to beat Dian life to death. Shuilian witnessed the tragic death of her beloved. She filled her chest with anger, picked up a harpoon and tried to kill Liu erbiao. After shouting "Dian Sheng is waiting for me", she threw herself into the lake and died. Their love touched God. For a moment, a rainbow appeared in the sky. A pair of mandarin ducks flew out of the rainbow. In memory of them, local fishermen called this island mandarin duck island.
