Duke Temple

Located in the east of Chang'an County to the south of Xi'an, about 12 kilometers away from Xi'an, it is the ancestral hall of Du Fu, a famous poet of Tang Dynasty. Dugong temple is a quadrangle building complex. The gate is a brick and wood structure similar to that of the Tang Dynasty. There are three halls in the temple, in which a clay statue of Dufu sits. The most precious cultural relic in the temple is the ink rubbings of the stone tablet "Fu Tai Zhong Yan Gong Jiu RI Nan Shan Si" written by Du Fu in the second year of Qianyuan reign of emperor suzong of Tang Dynasty (A.D. 750). This is the only existing ink treasure of Du Fu.

Introduction

Du Gong temple is located in the east of Weiqu Town, Chang'an District, on the Bank of Shaoling tableland, about 12 kilometers away from Xi'an. It is Du Fu's ancestral hall. It lies on Shaoling plain in the north and Fanchuan in the south. It has luxuriant flowers and elegant environment. It is a tourist attraction. On the walls of the exhibition room are the biography of Du Fu in the book of Tang Dynasty, the chronicle of Du Fu, the footprints of Du Fu, the genealogy of Du Fu, and the trace of Du Fu in Chang'an. At present, Du Gong temple was rebuilt in Qing Dynasty and turned into Du Fu Memorial Hall in 1960.

Du Fu has a long history with Shaoling. He lived near Shaoling for a long time. Because Du Yu was originally from Chang'an, he called himself Shaoling, Shaoling Buyi, duling Yelao and duling Yeke. His poetry collection was also named Shaoling collection. Du Fu lived in Chang'an for 10 years, and then wandered around Guanzhong for more than 4 years. In 754, when Du Fu was 43 years old, he took his family to Shaolingyuan in Chang'an. At the end of autumn, it rained for more than 60 days. The walls of his house were ruined and could not be maintained any more. He had to go to his wife Yang's family and live in Fengxian (Pucheng), 120 kilometers away from Chang'an. In 755, with the help of Zuo Xiang Wei Jiansu, Du Fu got an official position of eight grades. In November, he returned to Fengxian from Chang'an to visit his relatives. The "an Shi rebellion" which shocked the government and the public broke out. Along the way, he saw all kinds of signs of social unrest. He was extremely worried and indignant. He wrote a long poem "from Beijing to Fengxian County to chant eight hundred words", which contains the immortal saying "Zhu men stinks of wine and meat, and the road is frozen to death". His life is as gloomy and desolate as its poetic style, but it is still magnificent and magnificent. On the Shaoling plateau full of sunset, it may be able to reproduce the everlasting autumn song of that year!
