According to the preliminary inventory, more than 130 large cultural relics and thousands of small cultural relics were unearthed from No. 6 ancient Han tomb, including dozens of varieties of bronzes, pottery, gold, silver, jade, crystal, glass, agate, coins, bones, hair, powder, etc. all cultural relics can be regarded as national treasures. Among them, the three major discoveries of No. 6 ancient Han tomb are "bronze chariots and horses, bronze Buffalo, and cultural relics buried at the lower end of the passage" It is the first time in the history of Archaeology in southern China, and it can be called the first in Lingnan. It has great archaeological significance, and it can not be overestimated.

Distribution range

Hepu ancient Han tombs are distributed in an area of 68 square kilometers, and it is estimated that there are tens of thousands of ancient Han tombs. Since the 1950s, more than 1000 Han tombs have been excavated in Hepu, and numerous cultural relics have been unearthed.

After the excavation and restoration of cultural relics, the most important thing is to let them be collected and displayed in modern museums for experts to study and people to watch from generation to generation, so as to make them glow with brilliant historical brilliance. From the perspective of a cultural relic worker, it doesn't work if cultural relics are not displayed or studied. As a cultural relic worker, what I hope most is that the treasures of these countries can be visited and studied by more people. Due to the limited conditions, the old Hepu museum can not meet the needs of rich cultural relics resources. The urgent task is to build the Han Tomb Museum as soon as possible.

Most of the damaged bronzes, silverware and pottery unearthed from tomb No. 6 of the ancient Han Dynasty can be repaired. It will take about a year to repair them. After restoration, in accordance with the regulations of the Guangxi Autonomous Region on the protection of cultural relics, units (such as museums at all levels) designated by the administrative department of cultural relics of the Guangxi Autonomous Region to be protected with conditions will be collected. Hepu County Museum may also get part of the cultural relics collection by level. At that time, Beihai citizens will be able to enjoy these precious cultural relics and see their true appearance. Some of the most important cultural relics will be collected in the museums of the autonomous region, but they can also be exhibited on a tour for more people to enjoy. Like the bronze Phoenix lamp unearthed from the late Western Han Dynasty tomb in wangniuling, Hepu in January 1972, it can be copied by experts and collected by local museums for experts to study and people to watch.
