Keerjian tourist area

Keerjian tourist area is located in tuokesun County of Turpan region, which is a scenic tourist area with landscape tourism resources as the main part. It is 28 km away from tuokesun County, 120 km away from Turpan city and 162 km away from Urumqi. Among them, keerjian rock painting is located in keerjian, 5 km southeast of the town government. There are more than 100 pieces of rock paintings on the east bank, mainly about 3-4 sheep and material shepherds. The rock paintings on the West Bank are the main body of the rock paintings, which are divided into two parts: one is 21 rock paintings, covering an area of 28.05 square meters. The main contents are people, deer, dogs, camels, sheep, hunting and grazing scenes. There are also patterns of tigers chasing deer in front and hunters shooting arrows behind. The second is the water system map of Kerr alkali. A water system map is carved on a huge stone with an area of 42 square meters. It depicts nearly 38 large and small rivers, springs and canals by means of engraving, and shows the distribution of the local natural water system stereoscopically and realistically by using the natural slope of the stone. The longest section of the stone river is 3-5 meters long and 7-8 meters deep. In the lower reaches of the water system map, there are also vivid pictures of a large number of hunters on horseback and hunting, and various grassland animals eating grass, drinking water and running. According to relevant experts, these rock paintings and water system maps belong to the remains of Cheshi people from the 6th to 7th century BC.
