Ye fashan and Maoshan

Maoshan, 12 kilometers away from Songyang County, is a gentle mountain with a shape like a covered basin, beautiful pines like an exhibition, and strong stone scales. It used to be the place where ye fashan, a famous Taoist of the Tang Dynasty, practiced. The original Tongtian palace, dianyi Pavilion, Shijian stone and Zixia Palace on the top of the mountain have been abandoned for a long time. The hillside Taoist temple, Jiangong temple, Baihe cave and other historic sites still exist. Ye fashan (616-720) was born in Songyang. He was a famous Taoist in the Tang Dynasty. He studied the essence of Taoism and the art of Fangdan, gold and stone. Since the 50th year of Emperor Gaozong, Zetian and Zhongzong, they have traveled to and from famous mountains. They were often called to the inner court and were honored as guests of honor. Kaiyuan eight years (720) died in Chang'an jinglongguan. In the 27th year, Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, wrote the inscription of Ye Zunshi to mourn FA Shan.
