Lanxi liudongshan scenic spot

Liudongshan scenic spot is one of the first batch of provincial scenic spots in Zhejiang Province. It is located 8 kilometers in the eastern suburb of Lanxi City. It is a pearl on the tourism line of central and Western Zhejiang Province. The total area of the scenic spot is 85 square kilometers. It gets its name from the historical records of Baiyun, Zixia, yongxue, bottomless, hehe and funnel cave. It is characterized by beautiful mountains, beautiful waters, strange caves and secluded temples.

Known as the "unique in the sea", the underground river tour covers an area of more than 25000 square meters, covering 2500 meters. It is divided into three sections: yongxue cave, time tunnel and Yulu cave. It is a typical karst cave in different periods, with different forms and characteristics. In yongxue cave, an underground river with a length of more than 1000 meters runs through the cave. The source of the river has not been found yet. The temperature in the cave keeps 18 degrees all the year round. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. It's like a fairyland for a boat. Yulu cave is tall and spacious, and the hall is full of exquisite stalactites, stalagmites and stone curtains. "Time tunnel" in the stone fantasy, close at hand, has a high ornamental and scientific research value.

There are many historic sites in Liudong mountain scenic area. The quiet and elegant Qixia garden is the ancestral home of Zhao Si, wife of Zhang Xueliang, a famous lady and patriotic general. There are more than 6000 volumes of Dazangjing collected in Qizhen temple, a thousand year old ancient temple. It is a translation of the Sutra collected by Tang Monk "Xitian". It is a valuable material for the study of ancient Chinese culture. The legendary Huanghui Temple tells the story of Liudong mountain, where emperor Huidi Zhu Yun left to become a monk after his uncle and nephew's cruelty in Ming Dynasty.

Hangzhou - Hangzhou Jinzhou Quzhou Expressway - Lanxi (exit 18 - Shencun Expressway) - National Highway 330 about 10 minutes to Lanxi City

Hangzhou city to the East through the airport expressway to Xinjie (or ring expressway) Shanghang Jinqu expressway, driving 170 km to Lanxi exit, small car toll 90 yuan. After getting off the Lanxi exit, turn right (in the direction of Lanxi City) and drive along the road to the first traffic light (with the sign of scenic spot), turn right, then go straight along the road until it is a T-shaped intersection, then turn left (with the sign of scenic spot), and then you can reach the gate of the scenic spot. It is about 10 kilometers from the exit of the expressway to the gate of the scenic spot.
