Sea Hall

Haihuitang is located on Fengchi mountain in the north of Yinghua town. Guangmu highway passes through the foot of the temple. Three rivers from Yinghua mountain area flow into shiting River in front of ancient temple. From the height of the temple, you can see the majestic convergence of the three rivers, which gives people the feeling of "son in Sichuan". It is a geomantic treasure land built in a day. Grand mountain gate to climb the stone level, there are water lilies in the pool, Guanyin barefoot standing on the back of carp, net bottle high.

Pengzhou sea hall is at the foot of Jinding, Jiufeng Mountain. On a sunny day, Jinding looks forward to the future, and its wheels and horns can be counted. Along the way, the temples are connected, often in the clouds and fog, and there are many changes.

Sea Hall

Haihuitang is also a temple for monks to meditate. Its name is derived from the Buddhist Sutra "Bodhisattva haihuiyunlai collection". It turns out that the ancient temple once had a large plaque of "tianfenghaihui", which contains the boundless Buddhist Dharma and a hundred kinds of Haihui. The origin of religion

Haihuitang is a branch of shuangguitang, a Zen master of Poshan. It established Linji patriarchal clan as its ancestor and inherited Tiantai Sect as its secret. Haihuitang Zen is a school of mountains and forests. It lives in the mountains and fields. It is proved by "one empty, two identical, all inclusive" and "broad road, no easy, no difficult".

origin

In the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty (1535-1656 AD), Master Lianchi traveled from Hangzhou to Shifang, and came to the high bridge of Yinghua mountain. He saw thirty-two rivers, Luoshui, flowing and going out to sea. Knowing this, Master Lianchi built a temple here and named it "haihuitang". There is a large plaque of "tianfenghaihui" hanging in the ancient temple, which contains the boundless Buddhism and the profound meaning of "baichuanhaihui".

Because of their great reputation, the mysterious life of emperor Jianwen and the great influence of the Pure Land Sect among the common people, Yinghua mountain, as the eighth ancestor of the Pure Land Sect zhuoxi's mountain opening place, has gradually evolved into a mountain meeting in Yinghua mountain for hundreds of years, forming a major folk custom in the Western Sichuan area called laoyinghua in the Six Dynasties of June. In the first year of Wanli (1573 A.D.), Emperor mingshenzong granted the sea hall a gold embroidered thousand Buddha cassock and a purple collar, and a collection of scriptures.

Built in the Ming Dynasty, haihuitang has a history of more than 500 years. It contains a large number of Buddhist scriptures and Buddhist tools. During the "Cultural Revolution", a large number of collections were burned. In 1987, abbot Shi Guangfa, who was more than 40 years old, came to chongxinghai hall in Yinghua mountain area.

The winding Guangmu highway passes through the foothills in front of the temple, and three rivers flow from the Yinghua mountain area into the shiting River in front of the ancient temple. Haihuitang is a cascade hall with "seven heavens" such as Daxiong hall, Qianshou Guanyin hall, jade Buddha Hall, dizang hall, seven Buddha Hall, zushi hall and Luohan temple. From the height of the temple, you can see the magnificent convergence of the three rivers, which is known as the best geomantic treasure land in Shifang. But no one knows that the temple with beautiful scenery is in the Longmen Mountain earthquake zone.

In 2008, 50 officers and men from 60 units of 95985 airborne troops came to the sea hall to clean up cultural relics. Yinghua Zhenhai hall was built in Ming Dynasty with a history of more than 500 years. There are a lot of Buddhist classics and Buddhist tools in it. The architectural style is unique, which plays an important role in the development of local Buddhist culture. But in the 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake, the sea hall almost turned into ruins.

After nearly eight hours of fighting, all the officers and men of the company used their hands to clean up more than 100 square meters of wood and more than 90 square meters of gravel, remove five dangerous houses, and excavate some silver coins from the ruins of the Republic of China and a large number of books, bedding, clothing, Buddhist instruments, etc., all of which were handed over to the master in charge. The cultural relics are intact.

Famous people

Master Qingde was born in Zizhong County, Sichuan Province in 1925. In 1945, he became a monk in jiufengshanhai hall, Pengxian County, Sichuan Province. In 1958, he graduated from China Buddhist College in Beijing. He once served as abbot of Shengshui temple, President of Neijiang Buddhist Association, now abbot of Yunfeng temple, Yingjing County, Ya'an, vice president of Sichuan Buddhist Association, executive director of China Buddhist Association, and member of provincial and municipal CPPCC.

Hu Pu Jian Fa Hui

"Haihuitang set up a general recommendation meeting for Dharma", and held the second general biography activity of "smoke can satisfy the desire of the masses". Master Mingshu, the abbot of Jinding temple, was in charge of the Dharma meeting. More than 100 of the four disciples attended the meeting.
