Meishan Wawushan National Forest Park

Wawu Mountain National Forest Park is located in Hongya County, the western edge of Sichuan Basin, with a total area of 71.04 million mu and an altitude of 2830 meters. Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, Wawu mountain has been known as "two unique scenic spots in Sichuan" together with Emei Mountain for its magical and beautiful landscape, and has been famous for thousands of years.

Wawu mountain has four distinct seasons, which is the best place for all-weather tourism. In spring, we can see thousands of mu of rhododendrons, in summer, we can see waterfalls and flowing springs, in autumn, we can see colorful forest sea, in winter, we can see forest sea and snow plain, we can see sunrise, cloud sea, Buddha light, three suns and other wonders in four seasons, natural oxygen bar, primitive and simple.

Healthy and green tourism destination. The natural ecology of Wawu mountain is well protected, the green area is more than 95%, the original ecological rate is 93% (the average original ecological rate of tourist area is 76%), and there is no pollution and damage. It is the most suitable tourist destination for healthy ecological tourism.

It's a marvelous scene of natural engineering. It's a tile house. Wawu mountain is located in the "West China rain screen" area. There are more than 80 springs under the forest, which flow inexhaustibly and form 72 waterfalls with high mountains and long waters. There is a sea of clouds in the four seasons, such as sunrise, Buddha's light and three-day glory. Xianger rock on the top of the mountain is the best place to view.

Paradise of love, Rhododendron kingdom. Wawu mountain is rich in rhododendrons, with more than 40 kinds of rhododendrons, covering an area of 600000 mu, known as the "Kingdom of rhododendrons in the world". In April and may every year, there are thousands of rhododendrons blooming on Wawu mountain. The color, shape, quantity and variety of flowers are the highest in the world.

Cool world, carefree. In the hottest July, the average temperature of Wawu mountain is only 13 ℃, and the highest temperature is about 20 ℃, and there is no mosquito bite in summer. Cool breeze, quiet space far, can be described as carefree.

South scenery, North scenery, forest and snow. Wawu mountain is covered with ice and snow for about half a year, and the snow scenery is very distinctive. It has both bold and unconstrained northern scenery and graceful and elegant Southern sentiment, which is called "Southern sentiment and Northern scenery". When it's cold, Lanxi waterfall condenses into a huge ice waterfall. It's brilliant blue.
