Danshan Chishui is a scenic spot located in Shilin village, Dalan Town, Yuyao City, Ningbo. It is 45 kilometers away from Yuyao City and covers an area of 6.05 square kilometers. Shilin village, where the scenic spot is located, is surrounded by mountains on all sides, full of green bamboo trees, flowing springs and fragrant flowers. According to the genealogical records, Shen's ancestor was the tenth son of King Wen of Zhou Dynasty. He was granted the land of Shen, so he took the land as his surname, and his descendants came here to live in seclusion. There is an ancient well in the village. Its water is clear and pure, warm in winter and cool in summer. It is the drinking water source for the whole village. Therefore, there is a saying that "one village, one surname, one family, one ancient well, one village".

The village is surrounded by towering ancient trees and green cages. On the side of the road to shiziyan mountain behind Shilin ancient village, there is a dark forest. Among the forest, there is a thousand year old peach tree, an ancient pine tree and five ancient Torreya grandis. The trunk of these ancient trees is thick, and they must be surrounded by several people. The roots are bare, and there are many old spots. Although they have gone through wind, frost, rain and snow, they are still lush and towering. People use gujinsong as a TOEFL, ancient Torreya as a yinglu tree, and white peach as a longevity tree. Therefore, the scenic spot is named "fulushou garden", and the local people call it "qizhutou". Persimmon trees are the most common in the village. They are everywhere inside and outside the village, in front of and behind the houses. The annual output of persimmons in the village is more than 200000 Jin. Some persimmon trees are towering and close to each other. They are more than 300 years old. The largest single tree yields more than 1000 Jin. In late autumn, inside and outside the village, and up and down the hillside, red persimmons hang from their branches like countless little red lanterns. In addition, the red maple trees in the forest are like fire, and the green trees set off the beautiful scenery of autumn. In addition to persimmons, there are also high mountain Yunwu Tea, Siming Longjian and bamboo shoots.

There is a big stream under the village. Because the stream flows through the red soil layer and is slightly red under the reflection of red rocks, it is called Chishui stream. Down the stream, there are Baihu lake, Qinglong lake, Huagai lake, Linglong lake and Qiushui long beach in turn. The pools are different in height and are well arranged. When the stream flows into the pool, a multi-level small waterfall is formed due to the large drop. The sound of water rushing against the boulders in the stream reverberates in the valley, and the water mist rising in the valley, forming a charming wonder of the valley. There is a stone arch bridge built in the ninth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1859) on the stream, which is of steep arch single hole type, with an arch height of 10 meters. In the middle of the bridge, there is a stone slab carved with lotus pattern. On both sides, there are stone barriers, which are connected by mortise and tenon. In the middle of the bridge, there is the word "Chishui bridge". Across the bridge, facing is a few miles wide, 100 meters high cliff, the cliff is also red, known as Danya. It is said that the ancient immortals killed sheep here and dyed rocks and streams red, so it is also called shayangyan. There are mixed trees and wild flowers growing in the crevices between the rocks, which are red and green with the cliff, and are reflected in the red water. The scenery is very beautiful. The name of red water in Danshan mountain is derived from this. On the cliff, there are four characters "red water in Danshan Mountain" written by Emperor Huizong of Song Dynasty.

On the top of a cliff at the edge of Shilin village, there are two overlapped rocks. Below is a rectangular stone pillar, and at the top is a large square stone. It is slightly inclined and crumbling. The local people call it "chuangqiyan". It is said that when LV Dongbin traveled to Dalan, he saw that the mountain people were carrying the burden and crossing the mountains very hard. He felt compassion and wanted to build a bridge between the two mountains. He had just moved two huge stones to make the bridge foundation, but he was recalled by the Jade Emperor. The bridge was not built, leaving only these two rocks. Because they were done by gods, they are also called "immortal rock". Now from a distance, it is just like an immortal standing on the top of the mountain, looking east at the sea.

There is another scenic spot related to LV Dongbin in legend. In the middle of the West Cliff of Shilin village, there is a protruding rock with big root and sharp head, which looks like the sharp mouth of a giant eagle. Under the sharp mouth, there is a cave, which looks like the big mouth of a giant eagle. The local people call it Mingying cave. It's said that the eagle in the sky can't bear the loneliness of the heavenly palace. Once, when the queen mother set up a peach party and the immortals were busy, they sneaked out of the heaven and traveled to the lower world. When I came here and saw the beautiful scenery, I couldn't help but open my mouth and cheer. Unexpectedly, my jaw was dislocated and couldn't be reset due to excessive force. For a long time, it formed a cave. Later, Lu Dongbin came here, stayed in the cave, and saved a mountain people with the spring water in the cave. According to the news, local villagers found that there were Bodhisattvas in the cave, set up incense to worship them, and went into the cave to get water as a good medicine.

The wonder of the red water in Danshan lies in the small openings in the rock wall, which can blow out gusts of cool wind in midsummer and warm wind in winter. Not only in the scenic area, but also in the farmhouse of the village, there is such a strange situation.
