Huangtian scenic spot of Jing County

Huangtian ancient buildings are carefully planned and built by the Zhu family in Huangtian on the basis of abolishing the original buildings according to the drawings of the Ministry of industry of Qing Dynasty. At present, there are 57 buildings in Qing Dynasty, 135 single buildings, with a construction area of 33000 square meters. It is a well preserved ancient residential complex. Its architecture not only has the style of Suzhou gardens, the magnificence of palace buildings, but also has the characteristics of Southern Anhui architecture. It is a typical representative of the ancient Fengshui theory.

Huangtian scenic spot, also known as Huangtian ancient village in Jingxian County, is located in the West foot of Huangzi in Jingxian County, Anhui Province.

In October 2006, it was approved as a famous historical and cultural village in Anhui Province.

Introduction to scenic spots

The whole village is inlaid in green mountains and rivers. There are well preserved ancient residential buildings of Qing Dynasty in the village. It is a precious historical and cultural heritage. There are 57 existing ancient buildings, 110 single buildings, with a building area of 33000 square meters. In May 2006, it was approved by the state Council as the Sixth Batch of key cultural relics protection units in China. This year, the Fengzi river landscape of Huangtian won the first title of "Chinese classic village landscape" number. Its architecture has not only the magnificence of palace architecture, the style of Suzhou garden, but also the characteristics of Anhui style architecture in South Anhui. The villages are crisscrossed with lanes, open ditches and culverts, and flowing water passes through the village. Among them, the unique cultural architecture of ocean boat house, the traditional building materials and crafts of water grinding tiles, and the Fengshui culture of the natural water mouth of the ancient village constitute the three national architectural characteristics of Huangtian ancient village.
