North Wudang Mountain, Hebei Province

The North Wudang Mountain is magnificent with luxuriant vegetation. There is a rare 30000 Mu public forest in Taihang Mountain, with a vegetation coverage rate of 70%. On the top of the mountain, there is the temple of Zhenwu Great emperor, which is said to be the blessed place for the Taoist Dharma protector, Zhenwu Great emperor, to practice and understand Taoism in those years. In addition, there are Bodhisattva hall, Bixia hall, Yaowang hall, etc. Because the terrain is high on the top of three cliffs, it has a sense of awe inspiring and potential pressure on the peaks. According to legend, the place where Zhang Sanfeng accepted his apprentices was in the south of Daqian village at the foot of the mountain. Later generations named this place "daozhuang".
