Yunhe Terrace Scenic Spot in Lishui

Across the three geological landscape belts of mountains, hills and valleys, there are more than 700 layers at most. It is the largest terrace group in East China and is known as "the most beautiful terrace in China". Clouds and terraces are like chains and belts, winding up from the foot of the mountain, layer upon layer, high and low, and its lines are like flowing clouds and water, natural and graceful, magnificent in scale and momentum. The majestic atmosphere is in harmony with the delicate and clean points and lines, forming a charming and natural curve world.

At the end of spring and the beginning of summer, the vast sea of beautiful clouds sometimes looks like a gentle girl lying in the mountains and rivers with bare chest, dotted with mountains, trees and houses, just like a fairyland in Penglai.

At sunrise, the sky is full of rosy clouds, rolling clouds and dancing bamboo shadows, which makes you feel like a paradise in the world; the terraces on the slopes are sparkling, golden and shining, which is like a sky ladder straight up to the sky, which is a magnificent picture; at sunset, the villages, woods and shepherds are covered with golden gauze scarves, which are poetic and picturesque.

The landscape of Yunhe terraces varies throughout the year: the spring water is all over the fields, like silver chains hanging in the mountains; the summer solstice is green, like layers of green waves in the sky; in the golden autumn, the rice is heavy, like a jade house on the top of a gold pagoda; in the middle of winter, the snow is a good omen for a bumper year, like a cloud surrounded by white jade.

Get off at the expressway, drive along provincial highway 53 to the fork in the direction of Longquan, and go straight according to the sign of Yunhe Terrace Scenic spot.

Yunhe County -- Yunhe passenger station -- 10 -- bus (Yunhe zhangjiadi 6:30-17:00 every other hour)

Ticket information: terrace ticket 80 yuan; scenic spot ticket + drifting ticket, adult package 140 yuan, adult package 180 yuan

Opening hours: 8:00-16:30; rafting: 8:00-15:00 (River maintenance in scenic area, rafting is limited to Saturday and Sunday); scenic area and rafting are two different scenic spots.
