Zhao Chongguo cemetery is located in Qingshui County, 1 km north of the Niutou river. It began in the Han Dynasty, and later dynasties built sacrificial fields, built sacrificial halls, carved stone steles, and inscribed historical sites. In 1962, it was announced as a key cultural relics protection unit in Gansu Province. Now it covers an area of more than 7000 square meters. The mausoleum building is elegant and solemn, grand momentum, elegant environment and pleasant scenery. There are more than ten provincial and county-level cultural relics protection sites in the tomb area, such as the corridor of stone inscriptions and tombs of the Song Dynasty. It is one of the holy places for tourists and the Zhao family to seek roots and worship their ancestors inside and outside the province. It is also one of the window positions of Qingshui history and culture.

Zhao Chongguo cemetery is located in Qingshui County, 1 km north of the Niutou river. In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the medical workers struggling in the front line of anti epidemic, Zhao Chongguo Mausoleum scenic spot has been free of admission to medical workers all over the country within one year since its resumption of business.

Brief introduction to the owner of the tomb

Zhao Chongguo (137-52 BC), also known as wengsun, was originally a native of Shangying (now Tianshui City, Gansu Province) in the west of Gansu Province. Later he moved to Huangzhong (now Xining area, Qinghai Province). He was a famous general of the Western Han Dynasty and served as Emperor Wu, Emperor Zhao and Emperor Xuan. Zhao Chongguo was calm, brave, farsighted and resourceful, and made outstanding contributions to the policy of tuntian at that time. Ganlu died in December in the second year of Ganlu (52 BC) at the age of 86. He was named Zhuang Marquis and was buried in the sun of Guibu mountain (Liya, northwest of Qingshui county)

Zhao Chongguo's tomb is 3.8 meters high and 10 meters in diameter at the bottom. In front of the tomb, there are two stele pavilions. Inside the tombstone are "the tomb of the general Yingping Marquis after the Han Dynasty" in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty and "the tomb of the general Yingping Marquis of the Han Dynasty" in the Yiyou period of the Qing Dynasty. It has successively built a four column cupola of imitation white marble, two stone pavilions of imitation ancient wood structure, one of which contains the inscription "Ode to Zhao Chong" written by the calligrapher Zhao Meng of the Yuan Dynasty, and the other contains a stele of the statue of beizhoutian and Lu Gongji of the second year, which is a national cultural relic protection unit.

Protection work

In recent years, Qingshui county has built a forest of Steles and statues in the park. Four painted brick tombs of song and Jin Dynasties in Gaofu county have been relocated for rescue protection. A museum of song and Jin tombs has been built and a white jade statue of Zhao Chongguo, a general of Han Dynasty, has been carved. Zhao Chongguo mausoleum cultural museum scenic spot has realized greening, beautification and lighting, which greatly enriched the cultural connotation of the mausoleum.
