Zhaitang reservoir

Mentougou Zhaitang reservoir is located in the gorge southwest of xizhaitang village, the main channel of Qingshui River, Mentougou District, Beijing. In Qingshui Town, the head of water source is Qingshui River formed by streams such as huangtagou, Xiaolongmen, Lingshan, Longmen and Damo. Zhaitang reservoir is not only the largest reservoir in Mentougou District, but also the most beautiful one. The main dam is a roller compacted clay inclined wall earth dam, with a maximum height of 58.50 meters, a crest length of 380 meters and a width of 5 meters. The annual water storage is about 15 million cubic meters, the water surface is 0.5 square kilometers, the water depth is about 10 meters, and the total storage capacity is 100 million cubic meters.. There is a horse platform nearby.
