Danhe river is a secondary tributary of the Yellow River. It flows into Qinhe River in Boai County. Its water source mainly comes from Sangu spring of qingtianhe reservoir. The water quality is good and suitable for human and livestock drinking. The average annual runoff of Danhe river is 309 million cubic meters. In order to ensure the water supply of Danhe River, qingtianhe reservoir was built in 1972 at 1 km upstream of Yuetai railway bridge. The reservoir has a controlled drainage area of 2513 square kilometers, with a total storage capacity of 20.7 million cubic meters and a Xingli storage capacity of 17.26 million cubic meters.

Daquan Lake Tourist Area

Daquan Lake tourist area is the essence of Qingtian River scenic area. It is not only beautiful with clear water, but also has the wonder of deep valley. Therefore, it has the reputation of "Three Gorges in the north" and "Guilin mountains and waters". Daquan lake is 7.5 kilometers long, nearly 100 meters wide and more than 60 meters deep. It is a rare green corridor in southern Taihang Mountain of Northern Henan Province, with tens of thousands of mu of artificial pine forest. It is the best place to watch Taihang red leaves in autumn in Jiaozuo. Jinjialing has a large area of red leaves, nearly 100000 mu, covering 3868 peaks, ridges and cliffs in the area. Jinjialing has many varieties of red leaves, including southern Cotinus coggygria, northern maple, and yellow Cotinus coggygria, which is more than 2500 years old. Yueshan temple tourist area

Yueshan temple, founded in 1158, is a famous Buddhist holy land in history. Together with Shaolin Temple, Baima temple and Xiangguo Temple, it is known as the four famous temples in Central China. Yueshan temple is located five kilometers to the north of Boai County. The scenic spot is Xianshan qiongge. It has a lot of famous sites, strange scenery and beautiful scenery. It has seven famous small scenes, eight famous scenes, five wonders and two mysteries that are difficult to solve through the ages. In the heyday of Yueshan temple, there were 500 monks and more than 1000 houses. There were a lot of Scripture editions and books, especially the Buddhist scriptures in the Sutra Pavilion. Sangu spring tourist area is located on the left bank of the middle section of Daquan lake. There are primitive Tanyu. The diameter of Sangu spring mouth in Qing Dynasty is 2.18 meters. It is trumpet shaped and has 4-8 annual water gushes. It is the first in China. The main scenic spots are: Yuhuang hall, Sangu hall, mountain temple, Taihang macaque garden, bird forest, botanical garden, moon cave, etc.

Tianjingguan tourist area

Tianjingguan tourist area is located between the ancient battlefield of tianjingguan and the dam of qingtianhe reservoir.
