The Great Hall of the people of Zhejiang Province, located at the foot of Baoshi mountain and the Bank of Xizi Lake in Hangzhou, is located at No. 9, Shengfu road. The city hall covers an area of more than 80 mu. The main building is 138 meters long from north to South and 136 meters long from east to west. It is composed of three parts: the south building, the middle building and the north building, with a total construction area of 58500 square meters. The building is mainly composed of six functional areas, including the main venue, the international conference hall, the conference hall of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, conference halls of various cities, banquet halls and catering and entertainment facilities. The outdoor environment is mainly composed of citizen square, culture square and etiquette square.

The functional orientation of the main venue of the great hall is to give priority to meetings, and can also undertake ballet, symphony, large-scale variety show, and vocal performance of various professional dramas.

There are 61 stage suspenders, including 14 lighting suspenders. Equipped with lifting stage, rotating stage, translation platform, lifting Orchestra and other modern stage machinery and equipment. The total power load of the hall is 2 × 1250KW, with double power supply and 1500 lighting circuits.
