Hangzhou Polar Ocean Park is invested by Zhejiang Ocean Aquarium Investment Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. It is planned and designed according to the standard of four-star tourist attractions. It is a key practical project of Xiaoshan District Government in 2007-08 and a key project of the main park of the second Leisure Expo. At present, China's largest polar ocean park is planned to be completed and opened in October 2008.

Hangzhou Polar Ocean Park is located in Xiaoshan Xianghu Lake scenic spot, adjacent to the cross Lake Bridge Museum.
