Dacai Township

Dacai township is located in the southeast of Huanjiang County, known as the gateway of Huanjiang. It borders on Anma township of Yizhou City in the East, si'en town of the county in the west, Da'an township of the county in the north and Desheng of Yizhou City in the south. Dacai township has convenient transportation. The township is 23 km away from the county, 8 km away from Jinyi first-class highway, and Huande second-class road runs through the territory. The township governs 7 administrative villages, 73 natural villages and 128 villager groups, with a total population of 1.2364 at the end of 2002. The total area is 134 square kilometers, and the cultivated land is 15189 mu (including 2652 mu of dry land).

It is rich in rice, watermelon, tomato, sugarcane, silkworm, pig flower, lotus root, loquat, etc. Dacai has formed four pillar industries of watermelon, silkworm, sugarcane and tomato. Dacai watermelon and tomato are well-known both inside and outside the area, and are known as "the hometown of watermelon" and "tomato". the township has basically realized the "three links" (access, water and electricity), and has a good agricultural foundation. It is one of the agricultural science and technology demonstration townships in Hechi area, which is suitable for farming all kinds of grain and cash crops. There are xiamiao, Mulian, Neima reservoir and Shenlong palace in the area, which are suitable for the development of agricultural eco-tourism. Around the environmental Road, there is a Kasite agricultural eco demonstration station of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The total agricultural output value of the township is 31.35 million yuan, the fiscal revenue is 920000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers is 1950 yuan.
