Yangjiaji town is located in the middle of Biyang County, Zhumadian City, Henan Province, 11 kilometers away from Biyang County. It is adjacent to Wangdian town and Jialou Township in the East, shuangmiaojie Township in the west, Huayuan street and pishui street in the south, and Guanzhuang town in the north. It covers an area of 82.5 square kilometers, with 62000 mu of arable land, 12 kilometers long from north to South and 8 kilometers wide from east to west.

Evolution of organizational system

On November 29, 2016, with the approval of the people's Government of Henan Province, it was agreed that yangjiaji township of Biyang County should be removed from the township and built into a town, and the system of town governing village should be implemented, with the administrative region and government resident unchanged.

Yangjiaji town has 14 administrative villages, 138 natural villages and 223 villager groups. The administrative villages include yangjiaji community, Dongzhuang village, Guozhuang village, menggang village, Chaozhuang village, YangGuo village, dayuzhuang village, daxuzhuang village, Erpu village, Huagang village, Zhangpu village, WangWen village, Wangzhuang village and xiaozhengzhuang village.
