Guizhou Normal College

The predecessor of Guizhou Normal University is Guizhou Institute of education, which was founded in 1978. In 2009, it was restructured into a full-time regular undergraduate college and became more famous. Campus covers an area of 1169 mu, is located in the beautiful summer capital of Guiyang City, close to the forest belt around the city, surrounded by Jiamu, fresh air, close to the mountains, scattered. In 2012, he was awarded the bachelor's degree. In 2016, it was added as the construction unit of master's degree awarding project in the 13th five year plan of Guizhou Province.

At present, the school has 17 colleges, 4 research institutes and an affiliated middle school, Guizhou experimental middle school. The school employs 2 people, including "thousand talents plan" and "Yangtze River scholars", 23 doctoral supervisors and master supervisors, 89 professors, 360 associate professors and 169 doctors. There are 12627 full-time students. There are 44 undergraduate majors, covering 10 disciplines such as pedagogy, literature and science. In the past five years, the university has undertaken 85 national projects, including 42 National Natural Science Foundation projects and 43 National Social Science Foundation projects, won 30 provincial and ministerial scientific research achievement awards, published more than 1100 core journal papers, including more than 220 SCI papers, more than 150 CSSCI papers, more than 20 EI papers and more than 200 CSCD papers, and published more than 110 monographs and textbooks; More than 100 national patents have been authorized and more than 50 software copyrights have been registered.

The school adheres to the school motto of "being a teacher for others" and makes great efforts in the tide of reform and opening up. It has been awarded the title of "national advanced collective of higher education status and academic record management", "national training base for primary and secondary school principals in the western region of the Ministry of education", the only national "Chinese education base" in Guizhou Province, the first "Green University" in Guizhou Province, and the first batch of civilized campuses in Guizhou Province.
