Yibin University is a provincial full-time comprehensive undergraduate college located in Yibin City, Sichuan Province, a famous historical and cultural city.

Approved by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China in 2001, Yibin normal college was merged with Yibin Branch of Sichuan University of education.
