Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen)

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) is an institution engaged in higher education research established by the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Shenzhen University in accordance with the regulations on Sino foreign cooperation in running schools.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) was approved by the Ministry of education in March 2014 and established in Shenzhen, a special economic zone. The university is positioned as a "first-class research university based in China and facing the world". It will uphold the school running philosophy and academic tradition of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and cultivate innovative high-level talents for the country and region in the new era. The university has first-class teaching staff, pays attention to the international teaching environment and international exchanges, adopts the academic quality control and degree awarding standards of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and issues the degree certificate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) implements the president responsibility system under the leadership of the Council. Democratic management of schools, full respect for academic freedom. As of September 2014, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) plans to set up the school of economics and management in the first stage, including three undergraduate majors of marketing, international business and economics. In 2015, the school of economics and management will set up finance and accounting. The Institute of technology offers statistics, computer science and technology, electronic information engineering, new energy science and engineering.
