International College of Xiamen University

The International College of Xiamen University directly belongs to Xiamen University and is a public school. With the purpose of "developing the educational and cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries", the college actively introduces foreign high-quality educational resources. Combined with the perfect teaching software and hardware conditions of Xiamen University, the college provides a platform for Chinese students to receive international education, strives to realize the effective convergence of high-quality education at home and abroad, and is committed to cultivating international and compound talents.

The college adopts the curriculum system recognized by foreign cooperative colleges, introduces the original English teaching materials and teaching methods, adopts centralized all English teaching, and pays attention to the organic combination of English intensive training, professional basic courses and moral education, so as to provide a reliable platform for students to integrate into the study and life of overseas countries as soon as possible from the aspects of language, learning skills and independent life. The individualized study abroad program is adjusted according to the actual learning progress of students, so as to help students complete their studies smoothly. As of July 2013, more than 1200 graduates from eight classes have completed their studies and have gone to the UK, France, the United States, Japan and other foreign cooperative universities for further study.

In 2010, our college was the most recognized international preparatory program of sina 2010 China education grand ceremony, and the Sino foreign cooperation program with Dublin Business School of Ireland was approved by the Ministry of education, and officially enrolled in 2011. The project is the first Sino foreign cooperative education project of Xiamen University to be included in the national enrollment plan (this batch).

In 2012, the training base for studying abroad jointly built by the China study abroad service center of the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China and Xiamen University was set up at Xiamen University and operated by the International College. At present, it is the only training base authorized by China study abroad service center.

This year, the college will continue to join hands with world-famous universities to recruit outstanding students with high school and undergraduate degrees, share educational resources at home and abroad, provide college application and visa guidance and other auxiliary services, and pave an efficient and secure way for Chinese students who are willing to study abroad and expand their international vision.
