Qiqihar Polytechnic College

Qiqihar Polytechnic vocational college was founded in 1981, formerly known as Qiqihar construction staff University. It is a combination of the former Qiqihar Staff College of architectural engineering and the former Qiqihar urban construction technical secondary school. It is the only independent adult high school in the northwest of Heilongjiang Province. In the first ten days of 2011, Qiqihar Polytechnic vocational college was officially established with the approval of the provincial government after the expert group of Heilongjiang Provincial College Evaluation Committee. So far, the college has completed the transformation from adult colleges to ordinary higher vocational colleges.

The school has 120 full-time teachers and more than 2100 students. The college has more than ten majors, including construction engineering technology, engineering cost, municipal engineering technology (road and bridge direction), mechatronics, heating ventilation and air conditioning engineering technology (building water and electricity direction), welding technology and automation. The college has 14 laboratories, professional classrooms and audio-visual classrooms.
