Bazhong vocational and technical college is the first university in Bazhong. It was approved by Sichuan Provincial People's government and put on record by the Ministry of education in February 2013. It is a full-time private college which is sponsored by Bazhong Ailin Industrial Co., Ltd. and supervised by Sichuan Provincial Department of education. It mainly implements college level higher vocational education.

The college is located in the geometric center of Chengdu, Chongqing and Xi'an, and Bazhong City in the middle of Chengdu Chongqing Economic Zone and guantian economic zone. The college is located in Bazhong Economic Development Zone, covering an area of 500 mu, with a total construction area of 243600 square meters and a total investment of 760 million yuan. It has complete teaching and student living facilities such as teaching building, experimental building, art building, library, student apartment and playground.

Adhering to the school running orientation of "based on Bazhong, radiating Sichuan, Chongqing and Shaanxi, serving the regional economy", the college was the first to set up five majors in 2013, including construction engineering technology, accounting and auditing, tourism management, computer network technology, and building intelligent engineering technology. By 2017, the total number of majors (including professional direction) will reach 41.

The school library has 102900 paper books, more than 3000 kinds of newspapers and periodicals, and more than 200000 electronic books (1TB).
