Zhejiang Vocational College of agriculture and Commerce

Zhejiang Agricultural Business Vocational College is a full-time public vocational college approved by Zhejiang Provincial People's government. Its predecessor was Zhejiang supply and marketing technical school founded in 1979. The college has been rated as "advanced unit of vocational education and adult education", "outstanding contribution award of skilled talents cultivation of national supply and marketing cooperative system", "provincial intangible cultural heritage base", "municipal civilized unit", etc. The college is located in Shaoxing, a famous historical and cultural city with outstanding talents. It is located in Paojiang New District of Shaoxing, a national economic and Technological Development Zone. It has a beautiful Phoenix River and a campus area of more than 400 mu. The college has eight teaching departments, including the Department of cooking and tourism, the Department of automobile technology, the Department of accounting and finance, the Department of economy and trade, the Department of art and design, the Department of agricultural economy and management, the Department of basic education, and the Ministry of continuing education. At present, there are more than 4500 full-time students and more than 300 teaching staff. Relying on the system and serving "agriculture, rural areas and farmers", the college is based on the local, facing the whole province, connecting with the Yangtze River Delta, focusing on agriculture and commerce, taking into account other aspects, and cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for production, construction, service and management. There are two projects of specialty construction and training base construction supported by central finance, one project of provincial advantageous specialty construction and two provincial demonstration training bases. The college insists on promoting training by competitions, and organizes students to participate in various skills competitions at national, provincial and municipal levels. It has won 27 provincial and ministerial awards and 39 municipal awards. The employment contract signing rate of the first graduates reached 96.40%.
