Guangxi Sports College, founded in June 1956, is an ordinary college sponsored by the people's Government of the autonomous region and jointly managed by the Sports Bureau of the autonomous region and the Department of education. The school is located in the center of Nanning, Guangxi, adjacent to the beautiful people's Park. In the process of development, the school has constantly improved teaching facilities, teaching equipment to meet the requirements of teaching and experiment, and the library has 103500 books. At present, the university is planning to build a new campus with a total land area of 500 mu in Xiangsihu Higher Education Park of Nanning city. In 2014, the people's Government of the autonomous region determined that the university should plan and construct according to the construction standards of undergraduate colleges and universities in the future, and should be positioned in the high-level promotion of cultivating sports talents for China ASEAN. There are 200 teaching staff in the school, including 33 teachers with senior professional titles, 1 international referee and 18 national referees, 25 national social sports instructors, 40% of full-time teachers with graduate degree or above, and many of them are retired athletes or coaches of national or provincial teams. In the process of development, the school has received cordial care from leaders at all levels. In February 2009, Hu Jintao, then president of the people's Republic of China, paid a cordial visit to Wei ailing, a teacher of our school who teaches in the Chinese cultural center. In March 2011, four teachers of our school went to Myanmar to coach the national sports team at the invitation of the government of the Union of Myanmar.
