Jianghan Art Vocational College

Jianghan art vocational college is a provincial full-time public university approved by the people's Government of Hubei Province and registered by the Ministry of education. The college is located in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province, which is the hometown of Cao Yu, a star city in China and a famous dramatist in the hinterland of Jianghan Plain. It is adjacent to the Han River in the north and the Yangtze River in the south. Shanghai Chengdu expressway, national highway 318 and Xiangyue highway meet and run through. The traffic is very convenient.

The college was founded in 1958. The campus has scientific planning, reasonable layout and beautiful environment. Teaching building, music building, art building, studio, dining hall building, complex building and other modern large-scale buildings. The 400m standard sports ground, student apartment, library and other supporting facilities are all available. The campus is full of green grass, flowers, rockery, pond, green forest and bamboo. It is one of the "400 best greening units" commended by the National Green Committee and the "Garden School" named by the Provincial Department of education. The college has advanced and complete teaching equipment. At present, there are 6 large-scale dance training halls, 300 piano rooms, 8 professional studios and 2 art works exhibition rooms; there are 260 pianos, nearly 800 other musical instruments and more than 8500 various props and costumes; there are audio-visual education studio, electronic piano room, micro classroom, voice room, multi-media classroom, computer room and other teaching function rooms.

There are 309 full-time teachers, including 62 professors and associate professors and 168 lecturers. Liu Shikun, a famous pianist, Jiang Guiying, a famous singer, he Dabin, and Yang Fengxian are the art consultants and visiting professors of the college.
