Zhejiang Tongji Vocational College of science and technology

Zhejiang Tongji Vocational College of science and technology was established in January 2003 with the approval of the provincial government. It is a public full-time vocational college in charge of Zhejiang Provincial Department of water resources. The college covers an area of 442 mu, with a building area of 124000 square meters. It has 246 teachers, including 78 teachers with professional and technical positions above deputy senior level, 75 teachers with master's degree or above, and more than 4300 students.

Based on Zhejiang and relying on the industry, the college makes full use of the advantages of Zhejiang water conservancy industry and Tongji University to build a higher vocational college with large civil engineering majors as the main body, water conservancy and hydropower, architectural art majors as the characteristics, coordinated development of related majors, and cultivation of high skilled talents needed in production, construction and management.

The college has complete teaching facilities, and has 12 training bases with professional atmosphere and vocational characteristics, with a construction area of 22000 square meters. 48 off campus practice bases have been established. At present, there are 215000 paper books, 610 kinds of periodicals and 90000 e-books. Campus LAN can be connected with the Internet, water conservancy network and other networks, which can provide a wide range of office, information services and online teaching.

At present, the college has five teaching departments and one teaching department, and has set up water conservancy and hydropower construction engineering, water conservancy engineering, facility agricultural technology, engineering measurement and supervision, architectural design technology, architectural engineering technology, urban planning, power plant and power system, numerical control technology, mechatronics technology, electrical automation technology, automobile manufacturing and assembly technology, engineering cost, and construction economic management There are 18 majors in science and technology, network system management, decorative art design, environmental art design, computer art design, etc.

In 2008, the college was awarded the honorary title of "outstanding contribution award of national skilled talents cultivation" by the Ministry of human resources and social security. The college has a special type of water conservancy industry professional skills appraisal station and national professional skills appraisal institute.
