Nantong Institute of technology is a full-time regular undergraduate college established with the approval of the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. It is one of the first batch of private universities registered as institutional legal person in Jiangsu Province and one of the 26 sponsors of the national non-profit private university alliance. At present, the school has two campuses, Nantong and Hai'an, covering an area of 1100 mu, with a construction area of more than 300000 square meters and nearly 10000 students of various types.
