Hunan Foreign Language Vocational College

Hunan Foreign Language vocational college is a full-time ordinary college approved by Hunan Provincial People's government and registered by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. It is also the only full-time foreign language vocational college with foreign language majors in central and South China. The college is the executive director unit of China Association for International Education Exchange and the education consultant unit of Western China.

The college is divided into Changsha and Liuyang two campuses. At present, there are more than 7000 students in the school, covering an area of 397000 square meters, a construction area of 170000 square meters, and the total value of fixed assets is more than 146 million yuan. With convenient transportation, beautiful environment and perfect teaching and living facilities, the college is an ideal place for students to pursue further study.

The college attaches great importance to the construction of teaching staff, takes the construction of teaching staff as a basic, strategic work and "strengthening the school project", and pays close attention to the implementation work. At present, the college has more than 400 teaching staff, including 346 full-time teachers, 30.3% of whom have the title of deputy senior high or above, 27.1% of whom have graduate education or above, and 69% of whom have "double quality" teachers. A group of backbone teachers and professional leaders have been trained, and a teaching team with reasonable structure and good quality has initially formed, which can meet the requirements of higher vocational education. The college's foreign language courses are taught by excellent foreign teachers from all over the world. The strong teaching staff has laid a solid foundation for the improvement of teaching quality.

In order to improve the graduates' employment competitiveness and broaden the employment channels, the college carefully arranges the practical teaching links, implements the "double certificate" system, and creates the education mode of school enterprise cooperation, which effectively improves and strengthens the practical teaching and optimizes the talent training program, so that the students can better adapt to the market and social demand for talents. Since its establishment, the college has provided more than 5000 talents for the society. In the past three years, the employment rate has reached more than 98%. Among the past graduates, there are more than 1200 full-time translators, more than 2500 foreign economic and trade personnel, more than 800 managers, more than 260 civil servants, more than 500 department managers, and more than 40 in the United States, Britain, Australia, Japan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and other countries, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Study abroad, live or work.

The college adheres to student-centered and humanistic care, and is committed to building a learning organization. It has won the honorary titles of "excellent school run by social forces in Hunan Province", "advanced unit of vocational education and adult education in Changsha", "advanced unit of target management of social forces", "advanced unit of entry-exit management", "advanced unit of enrollment" and so on.

The development of Hunan Foreign Language vocational college has received the care and support of leaders at all levels.
