Jinken vocational and technical college is a provincial full-time private college established in August 1996 by Ms. Bao Liping, the national red flag bearer. It was approved by Jiangsu Provincial People's government and put on record by the Ministry of education in 2000. The college is located in Jiangning District of Nanjing City, backed by the unique natural scenery of Tongshan, facing Nanjing Lukou Airport and Nanjing South Railway Station, which is the first in Asia. The 830 Mu campus is surrounded by mountains and rivers. The pavilions and pavilions complement each other, and the lake is rippling by Chuntao Lake. The garden style campus is an ideal place for students to study and live.

After 16 years of reform and development, the college has formed a professional layout with the characteristics of automobile, construction, machinery and other majors, and the coordinated development of electronic information, finance, art and design majors, which meets the needs of regional industries. There are 29 specialties, including mechanical manufacturing and automation, numerical control technology and construction engineering technology, which have become the provincial brand specialty. The automobile specialty group is the experimental base for the innovation of the mode of cultivating compound skilled talents in Higher Education in Jiangsu Province. In cooperation with more than 100 well-known enterprises such as Jingdong group, the college has built 8 training centers, 33 comprehensive training rooms, a multi-functional digital library integrating literature retrieval, borrowing and information consultation, a national vocational skill appraisal institute, a large indoor gymnasium and other sports venues.
