Information College of Huaibei Coal Normal University is a comprehensive full-time ordinary university with undergraduate education as the main body, which was approved and confirmed by the Ministry of education in April 2004.

The college is located in Huaibei City, Anhui Province, a new city integrating energy, industry, commerce and garden. The campus is built close to the mountains, with beautiful scenery, full of strong humanistic atmosphere. The elegant campus environment and modern living facilities provide students with a good learning and living space.

Relying on the comprehensive advantages of Huaibei Coal Normal University, the college sets up majors according to the needs of national and regional economic and social development. The college now has 12 majors in economics, Chinese language and Literature (normal), English, mathematics and Applied Mathematics (normal), applied chemistry, electronic information science and technology, applied psychology, electronic information engineering, bioengineering, e-commerce, art design, marketing, covering arts, science, engineering, economy, art and other disciplines. At present, there are 235 full-time teachers, including 27 professors, 106 associate professors, and 143 with doctor's and master's degrees.

Since 2004, the college has been recruiting students from all over the country, with a planned scale of 8000 students and 2400 students. The college enrolls four-year undergraduate students in 21 provinces (cities and districts) including Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Hainan, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Gansu and Xinjiang. After graduation, the students will be awarded the graduation certificate uniformly printed by the state, and the name of the school in the certificate shall be filled in "Information College of Huaibei Coal Normal University".
