Hebi Vocational and Technical College

Hebi Vocational and technical college is approved by Henan Provincial People's government and registered by the Ministry of education. It is a comprehensive public higher vocational and technical college covering engineering, agriculture, medicine, economics, literature, art and other disciplines. It is located in the new urban area of Hebi, an excellent tourist city in China, with convenient transportation, Beijing Guangzhou railway in the west, Beijing Zhuhai Expressway and Hepu Expressway in the East, and national highway 107 passing through the city The beautiful environment is an ideal place to study. The college now covers an area of 1200 mu, with a total construction area of 315000 square meters. It has a collection of 532000 paper books, 132000 e-books and 1232 kinds of journals. The college has complete experimental and practical teaching facilities, 1587 teaching computers, 20 experimental and practical training centers, 3 affiliated hospitals and 72 off campus practice and training bases. At present, the college has 580 teaching staff, 197 teachers with senior titles or above, including 26 professors, 157 teachers with graduate or master's degree, and 170 double qualified teachers. Professor Zhao Yufen, academician of China University, Professor Zhang Hongwei, doctoral supervisor of the president of Tianjin University of technology, and Professor Wang Xiancheng, former president of Tianjin Normal University of engineering, director of the National Vocational Teachers' Qualification Committee, are employed as honorary Dean of the college.

The college is a training base for high skilled and scarce talents determined by the Ministry of education, the Ministry of health and other six ministries and commissions, an excellent college for talent training level evaluation of Henan higher vocational colleges, a demonstration training base for Henan higher vocational colleges, and a national vocational education training base for electrical, electronic and automation major supported by the central finance. There are 12 colleges (departments) including College of mechanical and electrical engineering, medical college, nursing college, Department of electronic information engineering, Department of architecture and art, Department of materials engineering, Department of economic management, Department of foreign languages, Department of education and cultural communication, Department of rural engineering and technology, College of adult education and College of distance education, with 39 majors. The college adheres to the school running concept of "people-oriented, harmony oriented, talent oriented", adheres to the characteristic mode of efficiency education, and cultivates high-quality and high skilled professionals with harmonious development of morality, intelligence and skills. In the first vocational college skills competition of Henan Province held in 2008, our college won the first prize. Among them, the project of "CAD design and main parts processing of injection mold" represented Henan Province to participate in the national vocational college skills competition. In 2009, our institute made another great achievement in Henan selection competition of national vocational skills competition. The project of "CNC machine tool assembly, debugging and maintenance" won the first prize, and the three projects of "product modeling design and rapid prototyping", "3G base station construction and maintenance and data network construction" and "electronic product design and production" won the second prize respectively. In recent years, the college has successively won the titles of "advanced unit of mass sports in China", "civilized unit of Henan Province", "advanced unit of Vocational Education in Henan Province", "advanced unit of Ideological and political education in Henan Province", "advanced unit of vocational education teaching and research in Henan Province", "advanced unit of employment in Henan Province", "advanced unit of comprehensive management of social security in Henan Province" "Standardized student apartment of colleges and universities in Henan Province", "standardized student canteen of colleges and universities in Henan Province" and other titles. The college attaches great importance to the employment work of students, establishes the employment guidance service center, takes the lead in the development of the college students' employment alliance in the whole province, and makes every effort to build the college students' employment service platform. The college has successively established a solid employment base in the province and the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, Tianjin and Beijing regions, which has well solved the problem of students' employment placement.
