Henan Institute of Education

Henan Institute of education is an adult undergraduate college approved by the state with the enrollment qualification of general higher education. The predecessor of the college is Henan Education Administrative Cadre school, which was established in 1955 and named Henan Education College in 1978. Since 1993, the college has started to recruit college students of general higher education. In 2004, the college and Henan Normal University have jointly recruited undergraduate students of general higher education.

The college is located in Longzihu University Park, Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City, the capital of Henan Province. With convenient transportation, elegant environment and fast information, it is an ideal place for young students to seek knowledge and learn.

At present, the college has 16 departments including Chinese, foreign languages, education, politics, law and economy, history, management, mathematics, physics, chemistry, information technology, population and Life Sciences, geography, tourism, art and physical education, and a secondary college (HMC Language College); it has international economy and trade, primary education, public affairs management, Chinese language and literature, Chinese education, secretarial education, and so on Business English, English, English education, human resource management, geography education, mathematics and applied mathematics, mathematics education, physics, applied electronic technology, chemistry, chemical education, applied chemical technology, biological science, computer science and technology, software technology, biological technology and application, psychological consultation, tourism management, advertising design and production, art education, music Education, physical education and other general recruitment of normal and non normal college majors.

There are more than 600 teaching staff, including 44 professors, 150 associate professors, 200 lecturers and engineers, and 7 foreign teachers. In recent years, the college has fully used modern educational technology to implement teaching, and has a fully functional experimental training base, initially built a digital campus to cultivate high-quality skilled talents. Covering an area of more than 900 mu, the modern new campus is located in Longzihu University Park in Zhengdong New District, with beautiful environment and complete facilities, which can provide students with high standard of study and life security.

The college adheres to the motto of "morality, erudition, truth-seeking and innovation", with clear school running purpose, advanced teaching means, strict management and high education quality. Since its establishment, the college has trained more than 200000 primary and secondary school teachers, educational administrative cadres and other kinds of talents. Students are all over the cities and counties of Henan Province, and most of them have become the backbone of teaching and the main leading cadres of educational administrative departments. The college has been awarded the title of "National Advanced School of adult higher education" by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China, the title of "advanced school" and "civilized school" by the Department of education of Henan Province, the title of "advanced collective of teacher training of Henan Province" by the Department of personnel and the Department of education of Henan Province, and the title of "advanced collective of enrollment of ordinary colleges and universities" by the Department of education of Henan Province in 2005.

In 1995, HMC language college was founded in cooperation with Marshall University of the United States. It is one of the earliest foreign cooperation colleges in our province. If the students have studied in our college for two years and have passed the examination, the college will issue the diploma of General Higher Education officially registered by the state, and Marshall University will issue the professional qualification certificate of English language. Based on the principle of non-profit, the college introduces advanced technology and education methods from the United States to cultivate high-level professionals quickly and effectively. The graduates of HMC language college are all over the United States, Canada, Britain, New Zealand, Australia, France, the Netherlands, Ireland and other countries; those who continue to study or work in China have become the backbone of business, banking, education, government and other fields.
