According to foreign media reports, on June 18, Sotheby's announced the auction of a box of 1974 sunflower brand Maotai.
The auction house said that 14 bidders competed to bid and finally won a high price of 1 million pounds (about 9 million yuan), which was far higher than the estimated price of 200000-450000 pounds. The winner was an Asian collector.
According to the auction house, the auction includes 24 bottles of 1974 "sunflower" brand Maotai liquor, with an average auction price of 376000 yuan.
It is reported that from 1968 to 1978, the "sunflower" logo temporarily replaced the "flying Fairy" for export sales, and the number of products produced in 1974 was the least, which made the "sunflower" brand Maotai scarce in the market in 1974.
