[plant morphology] Coleophora, also known as Tilia leaf.

Deciduous small trees, 2-4 m high. Bark dark brown, with oval lenticels; branchlets with annular leaf scars. Single leaf alternate, broadly ovate, 12-16 cm long, 8-12 cm wide, apex acuminate, base heart-shaped, margin lobed and coarse teeth, similar to mulberry leaf, palmate 5 veins from base; petiole base enlarged, grooved, 6-8 cm long. Flowers small, unisexual, terminal dense panicle, usually drooping, petiole base with membranous lanceolate bracteoles; flowers yellowish green; male calyx tubular, 5-lobed; petals 5, long elliptic, apex acuminate and curved inward; stamens 5; female calyx tubular ovate, 3-5-lobed, without petals; ovary inferior, ovate, 3-4-locular. Drupe ovoid.

Born near water or village. It is distributed in Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan and Yunnan.
