[plant morphology] tu'er, also known as jiuziyang, is used for eating tu'er, Sanyeqing, jinxiandiaoyu and wild mung bean.

Many years of creeping vegetation. It has bulbous tuberous roots and yellowish brown skin. Stem with sparse bristles. Leaflets 3-7, ovate or long ovate. 5 cm in length, 1.5-4 cm in width, apex acuminate, base rounded, entire, upper veins short bristle, lower nearly glabrous; total petiole 6-8 cm long, hairy; stipules linear, hairy. Raceme, short hairy, 6-26 cm long; bracts and bracteoles linear, covered with short bristles; flowers yellow green, about 11 mm long; calyx slightly 2-lipped, with short round teeth; corolla butterfly shaped, green white, keel petal longest, rolled into semicircle, flag petal round, wing petal shortest, rectangular; stamens 2 bundles; ovary sessile, style curled into semicircle. Pods strip flat, 7 cm long, 0.6 cm wide. The flowering period is from June to August. The fruit period is from September to October.

It grows on humid hillside, shrub or ridge. It is distributed in Henan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Hubei, Hunan, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Sichuan, Guizhou and other places.

10 grams of fresh earth, wash and chop, put into a bowl, add 15-20 grams of sugar or honey, appropriate amount of water, steam in a pot for about half an hour, take the juice or dregs three times, and take it in one day (half for children under 3 years old). Or prepare syrup in advance. Among 141 cases, 68 cases (47.3%) were cured (spasmodic cough stopped and gradually stopped from mild dry cough), 63 cases (43.7%) were improved (spasmodic cough frequency reduced by 2 / 3 or significantly reduced), and 13 cases (9%) were ineffective. The fastest time to take effect is 3 days after taking the medicine, and about 8 days at the latest. There was no adverse reaction during the treatment.
