Iron chopsticks

Herbs perennial, 30-50 cm high, glabrous. Rhizome about 6 mm in diameter, with many dark brown fibrous roots. 1-2 basal leaves with long stalks, 5-7 lobes, oblong or broadly lanceolate, upper margin dentate; stem leaves smaller, sessile or sheathed, 3-lobed. Flowers solitary, sometimes 2 terminal; sepals 5, pink, elliptic or narrowly elliptic; nectariferous leaves 8-10, cylindric funnel-shaped; stamens numerous; carpels 2-3. Follicles flat, dehiscent, with many seeds.
